Erwin has been the vicar in the ministry team since April 2005.  He has been ordained priest on 2 July 1988.  He is married to An with 2 children (9 and 5).  He moved to Harwich from Belgium where he was the Assistant Chaplain at St Boniface’s, Antwerp.  In the team, he is responsible for liturgy and pastoral care.  He is also hon. chaplain at Two Village C of E Primary School, Mission to Seafarers, Royal National Lifeboat Institution, Royal Naval Association, Royal Air Forces Association, Harwich Town Council and Ramsey Crusaders.  He is since July 2007 Chairman of Churches Together.  He is very keen in getting involved in the international links and likes to use his language skills for this purpose.  He loves walking, listening to classical music and football.
